Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarms Wax.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles. Regular waxing can extend intervals by weakening follicles, while hormones and shaving between waxes may shorten results.

Some discomfort is normal, especially the first time. We use quick strips, calming techniques, and numbing options on request. Preparing by exfoliating a day before and avoiding caffeine reduces sensitivity for a more comfortable experience.

Wear loose clothing and avoid deodorant just before your appointment. Let hair be about a quarter-inch long; exfoliate one to two days before to remove dead skin. Inform your esthetician about sensitivities or medications for personalized care.

Redness, slight swelling or raised bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within a day or two. Apply soothing aloe or recommended post-care products and avoid hot showers, heavy sweating, and deodorant for 24 hours to aid healing.

Every three to six weeks is common, depending on your natural hair growth. New waxers may start every three weeks; as hair thins with regular waxing, many clients extend to longer intervals for convenient upkeep.

Avoid applying deodorant or antiperspirant for at least 24 hours to prevent irritation and clogged pores. Use gentle, fragrance-free soothing products recommended by your esthetician and wait until redness subsides before resuming normal deodorant use.
